SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Up to 130° temperatures
  • Exposure to smoky atmosphere
  • Lift 40 lbs.
  • Careful handling of raw meat
  • Careful handling of hot cooked meat
  • Operate pallet jack to move combos
  • Quality Controls
  • Safety
  • Teamwork
  • Other duties deemed necessary by management
  • Maintain High Quality Standards
  • Split wood, stack wood, remove hot coals from pit and place fresh wood in pits.
  • Empty grease from pits, and grease from grease tanks for proper disposal.

QUALIFICATIONS –

LANGUAGE AND MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:  Must be able to read a thermometer

REASONING ABILITY:  Multi-tasking

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ WORK ENVIRONMENT:  Working in extreme temperatures, lifting 40+ lbs.  Able to overtime as needed.  This is a full- time job.  Will need to work overnight & weekends as needed.
